First Tenant at Alpine Village Opens Up Shop

We are very pleased to welcome the Idaho State Liquor Store as the first commercial tenant here at Alpine Village in McCall, Idaho. This marks a major milestone for us as we approach completion of the Firetower Building this June. 

The new larger space has a full selection of distilled spirits, fortified wines, cocktail mixers and an impressive list of wines produced right here in Idaho. The store relocated from its previous location just a block away.  The new address is 616 N 3rd St (Hwy 55) Suite 110. Hours are 11:00 am to 7:00 pm Monday through Saturday. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day they extend their hours to 8:00 pm on Fridays and Saturdays.  The store is open 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sundays. 

The new storefront is on the plaza, and with landscaping and finishing touches on the building continuing, parking spaces have been created on the north side of the building to provide quick and easy access for customers.  For more information, call the store at 208-634-2275.

Getting to McCall Just Got Easier

McCall Air has just announced that they are now offering scheduled commuter air service to and from McCall from Boise Airport.  Starting today, April 24th, four flights will be available, each taking only 50 minutes from departure to gate. As many of us can attest to, the drive to and from McCall can take over two hours depending on weather conditions and traffic on the Payette River Byway.  This is a long-awaited alternative for heading to and from McCall for vacationers, residents and business travelers.

Here are the flight scenarios:

1. Get more time in the mountains on the weekends: After work, hop on the Friday flight from Boise departing at 6:00 pm and arriving in McCall at 6:50 pm.  Return to Boise on Monday morning on the 7:00 am flight that arrives at Boise Airport at 7:50 am, giving you plenty of time to make the weekly staff meeting.

2. Jaunt down to Boise for the weekend: McCall residents that want to head to Idaho's capital city for a visit or connect to another destination can leave town on the 4:45 pm flight on Friday that arrives in Boise at 5:35 pm.  Head back to McCall the following Monday morning on the  8:15 am flight, arriving at 9:05 am.

3. Stay the week for business or pleasure: With four flights scheduled - two on Mondays and two on Fridays - you can schedule client meetings throughout the work week and be back Friday in time for the weekend. Or fly in Monday and leave the following Monday for an extended mountain vacation.

Model Condominium Now Open for Tours

We are pleased to announce that the first model condominium at Alpine Village is now open for personal tours. This spacious residence provides you with a first hand look at many of the distinctive design elements homeowners and vacation lodging customers will enjoy at Alpine Village.  Among the features of this one-bedroom, plaza-facing home are the oversized patio accessible by both the living room and master suite, a travertine shower surround with separate soaker tub, stainless steel appliances and unique barn-like sliding doors into the study/second bedroom.

Brundage Announces Bonus Ski Weekend

This spring has been one of the best on record for late season snow in McCall, Idaho. Brundage Mountain is celebrating with a bonus ski weekend on April 18th and 19th. And there may be more weekends added as weather forecasters are calling for snow showers in the mountains the rest of this week.

Plus, don't miss the annual Crazy Daze spring skiing extravaganza this weekend, April 11th and 12th. On Saturday, join in on events including a costume contest, treasure hunt, poker run and a tray race. At noon, watch skiers and snowboarders glide on the water in the pond skimming contest. Come to the slopes Sunday for an Easter egg hunt and the Brundage Mountain Marathon. And guests of season pass holders ski free and Bogus Basin holders get half off lift tickets.
