The Firetower Building

The first of a planned four buildings at Alpine Village, the Firetower Building was named such for its signature fire lookout tower design element along N. 3rd Street.  The Firetower design was incorporated to connect this new project with the historic roots of McCall.  McCall has long been a base for the U.S. Forest Service and its unique Smoke jumper unit.  Nearly a dozen fire lookout towers with their notable criss cross bracing exist throughout the Payette National Forest.  These fire lookouts serve as a summer base for spotting forest fires and provide great opportunities for back country explorers to 4x4, mountain bike or hike in to some spectacular areas.  The Forest Service is still active and a big part of the McCall community.  Come by and walk up the stairs of our Firetower Building for an elevated view of the plaza or relax on the upper deck with some food and drink from Wraptor and watch the activity stroll by.

It's Time

The sun is out, boats are on the water and the summer activities are ramping up to full speed.  This weekend is packed with fun stuff to do.  We welcome a new neighbor across the street when Woody's BBQ opens this weekend.  After filling up there come over and check out the Vintage Car Show & Shine at our very own Alpine Village plaza.  Next week kicks off our outdoor movie night series, scenic chair lift rides at Brundage Mountain and of course the classic 4th of July parade and fireworks that are a McCall tradition.  Water skiing, wake boarding, golf, hiking, fishing, rafting, napping, reading...it's your time spend it however you want, just don't spend it mowing the lawn, staining the deck or washing the windows.  At Alpine Village we take of the chores so your time is free for enjoying everything this incredible area has to offer.  See you soon!

New arrival at Alpine Village plaza

We are very excited to announce a new arrival at our plaza at Alpine Village.  "Gabrielle " was created by local artist Sandra Davis and will grace our plaza this summer along with pal "Zulu Man".  It has been one of our goals to be a host for local art and we are very excited to have Sandra's work as our initial display.  Featuring reclaimed metal of all types, stained glass and other cool surprises these wonderful sculptures must be seen up close to fully appreciate.  Stop by and check them out!

Alpine Village pontoon boat launched for the season!

Despite the mountain showers that have lingered all week, we launched the Alpine Village pontoon boat and it is ready for action!  This luxury, 15 person beauty is a perfect way to spend an evening or all day on Payette Lake.  Did you know that ownership at Alpine Village comes with 5 days usage of the pontoon boat?  Nothing says summer in McCall like time on the lake.  We are hosting Wednesday evening lake cruises and can arrange for private, captained cruises or you can rent the boat all to yourself.  See you on the water!
